The Girl Who Travelled in her Dreams

A photo story and poem after an idea by a 6-year-old.

The night is short and my journey is long
I have a thousands things to do, before i’m done
I have to steal buildings and taxies and magic them small
I have to bake tiny cakes and eat them all
I have to conquer the city with a unicorn in my hand
and travel around from land to land
I have to fly in the sky
with my umbrella so high
and cross a fairytale bridge
before a dragon will die
oh so many things have to be done
In my fairytale dream,
before the night is gone.
