Ohlala and Oh my - the beautiful new collection from the Danish label Pierrot la Lune has landed with the first month of Spring and it takes us all on an imaginary trip to the streets of Paris.
"Sun-dappled cobbles on the winding side streets of Paris. The French sense of the hidden poetry of a colour, a taste or a single well chosen word. And non the least a quiet, bubbly optimism that can’t but spread. These glimpses of memories and atmosphere is the base of the summer collection 2015" says designer Emilie Ventujol, who has let her French roots inspire her in working with styles for this season.
The colours are light and dusty, many of the fabrics are marked by distinct texture and a lustrous surface, and the cut on dresses, pants and shirts are simple and functional with few well-selected details – all with a seductive French finesse.
Everything is made from organic fabrics and we love and admire designerand fouder Emilie Ventujol's responsible approach to children's fashion. Pierrot la Lune Spring summer 2015 is available in the brand’s own webshop as well as in selected concept and children’s wear stores.
The campaign photos for the Pierrot la Lune Spring/Summer 2015 collection were shot by acclaimed Danish fashion photographer Rasmus Mogensen, who lives and works in Paris, doing projects for many major publications, including Wallpaper, Vogue Germany and Elle France. The look is created by Marie Graunbøl, editor in chief of the magazine OAK The Nordic Journal.
