Easter eggs

We buy our eggs from a farm near our home. At Easter time is fun to color eggs with natural colors. For these eggs we have used blueberry, elderberry and turmeric.

It is easy to color eggs naturally, but it takes time. It looks so beautiful on the Easter table, so it is worth the wait.

All you need to do is to boil your free range eggs in water with berries, turmeric, red onion or what ever you will find beautiful. Boil the eggs for 10-12 minutes and then let them stay in water for a few hours. Leaving them in the water overnight in the fridge will give the eggs even more intense colors.

Last year we made these lovely flowers eggs. We blew the egg white and yolk of the egg and glued fresh flowers on the eggshell.

Happy Easter to you all!
