Best of CIFF. Children’s fashion forecast for AW15 by Scandinavian trendsetters
It’s always very exciting to visit CIFF KIDS (Copenhagen International Fashion Fair for CHildrens Wear) in Copenhagen. It's the epicenter of Scandinavian children’s fashion for three days and a nice place to greet, meet and see new styles and vibes. This time CIFF KIDS was held at a new location and because of that had much cozier, friendlier atmosphere! Clap-clap for Forum Copenhagen and long live CIFF! Hurraay!!
Here's a sum up of some of the main trends we spotted for the autumn/winter 2015-16 at CIFF KIDS:
Be cool, be green!
Among usual light-grey-salmon-pink palette we saw refreshing dashes of color at CIFF. Vivid green and strong lilacs are taking charge. Nice examples for that trend are Bobo Choses, Ebbe, Bundgaard, Reima.
Peach and sand
lot of brands have chosen strong evening-light-in-desert colors for their AW collections – different shades of sandy yellows and oranges are a trend that is especially cool on boys!
Traditional animal prints are still there, but they are accompanied by wild animal patterns that have gone slightly mad. Like this nice example by How to kiss a frog.
ifferent kinds of referrals to flowers are a strong trend next autumn-winter. These flowerprints are stronger than the ones you see during spring or summer, they have character.
Thumbs up for the new power label for boys - Someday Soon!! We are expecting a lot from you!
